One of the better ccd outlets. clean comfortable interiors and good ambiance. the sandwiches, burgers, coffees and beverages are great. i especially liked cold coffee. attentive staff and clean restrooms. definitely going again for sure.
I am regular CCD visitor, the place is really gud for coffee and service is also gud. its not so distance from besi tht makes it a cool place to hangout. watering menus & gud place for relaxing urself but the ambiance is lightly changed to a more brighter atmosphere & rgt now the F&B taxes have gone up the new rates are rolled out by the CCD.
I am a ccd regular, more for chilling out than the coffees and sandwiches.. most of the times in most ccds in Chennai most snacks are unavailable, exp the veg items, i ve never seen a veg pizza there but its always there on the menu!
The ambiance here is nice but for a beach side coffee shop it cud b a lot better. it is kinda uncomfy in the chairs outside and the backside is too secluded with minimal lighting. The inside is great with comfy couches and good decor, but somehow both inside and outside u feel watched u cant feel relaxed maybe cos the place is very small.
The vegan shake here is great. Other stuff are almost the same as rest of the outlets. I wud rather prefer adyar CCD which is much more happening ironically, there's just something in the air i guess!
Cafe coffee day has been one of my favourite places to hang out with my friends, be it in Mumbai or any other city. I've tried only the Besant nagar outlet in Chennai.
I like the menu of CCD. Their coffees are good, especially tropical iceberg & iced eskimo. Green apple soda tastes very fresh & is better than the one served at other places (eg. Costa) which tastes too sweet.
The chicken tikka sandwich & the chicken cilantro sandwich are absolutely delicious. The chicken n garlic sandwich is avoidable though, it is very bland!
So yeah, CCD will remain my favourite...so much better than Barista :)
