Take a walk down history to one of the oldest parts of Delhi, where it all began. In spite of the modern infrastructure and western culture East Delhi still holds ruins of the Mughal Era deep in its heart. Amongst all the other parts of the city it is here that the population from outside the city first started settling in, making East Delhi the most densely populated area of Delhi. It is home to the famous Akshardham temple, a jewel of India and an example of architectural excellence. Its assets include Patpargang and Preet Vihar, the best commercial hubs of Delhi.
