  • A Nice Experience 2012-03-26

went here after a hectic day at office and the the entire experience was very relaxing. right from being seated at a comfortable place to refreshing wet towels to the food being served, everything was nice. staff was very polite & helpful & the food was great.
sitting over the glass flooring, with fishes floating underneath was a novel & nice experience too
though "pathar ke kebab" probably had salt added twice but the prawns were excellently prepared. biryani served in the main course was extremely well made.

    really worth repeat visits.

  • In Love with Restaurant 2011-09-09

Happened to be in this restaurant few days back with my Fiancée... We've heard a lot about this restaurant and last week we happened to be dining there.. Must appreciate the decor plan and the ambiance along with GOOD FOOD.. Coriander leaf stands by what it says... Authentic Indo Pak food along with the Romancing ambiance.

Thumbs up for the Food and the Class and the heritage that it wants to bring into notice of India and Pakistan.. if you are a sufi fan then music will take you to great levels with your dining.. Must VISIT Restaurant to enjoy the culinary flavors of the Kitchen.

  • Consistently excellent food 2011-05-29

This place hidden behind MG road, is quite an establishment. A glass structure popping out of nowhere. Although I like their design, they can improve many more things. The lighting must improve, more dim lights and less beaming ones. The below the glass water, seems underutilized. I never got to see any fish in it in both my visits!

The welcome drink tastes artificial, but the food has always been their strength. The Bharwan Tangdi is something you just cannot miss! The Nihari is fantastically cooked. The haleem, however, was not to my taste. All in all, the food is consistently good and,

  • Back to tradition in a Romantic set-up 2011-04-20

This place has definitely got to be the most unique of restaurants! Indo-Pakistani cuisine to begin with!! A restaurant that sits over a small artificially made water body (with fish in it) which you can see through the sections of glass flooring and the romantic lighting with cozy sitting makes it an experience to remember by itself. If that wasn't enough - the food is to die for. It's rich, no doubt and better digested in the winters of the North, but there are lighter options too for other seasons.
The staff is also well groomed and pleasant.

    Good job, Vatika group!

  • Loved the food and feel of the place 2011-03-23

A refreshing welcome drink and a cool face towel kinda set the stage for a great evening. Feeling little under the weather, I had to skip the beer and on wife's recommendation tried Paya Shorba. No soup can compensate for the beer but it was good.

For starters, we tried the Amritsari Fried fish and it was one of the best fish that I've ever tested. Totally recommended.

Sialkot Chicken as our main course item didn't disappoint. It's a butter overdose and punjabi in me had a good time :)

We were too full and skipped dessert. The complementary sweet paan more than made

  • Best food & Best ambiance 2010-10-08

Special for Pakistani cuisine. The kebabs are mouth watering and if you are a hard core non-veg with a penchant for soft, juicy, melting kebabs - then this is the place to be. They will start by serving seasonal natural drink (aam panna or chacchh) and will end by a pan. What lies in between is magic - wide range of dishes ranging from spicy to mild. Their breads are also good, but scope of improvement in the rice department. Go for afghan chicken, mushroom tikka and bharwan tangdi. Monetarily pretty decent.
