Everything in this restaurant is just superb. Their pasta with sausage and spicy pepperoni is my favourite item on the menu and I regularly crave for it. The carpaccio is worth mentioning too. Coupled with a whiskey sour and creme caramel for dessert, it's the perfect place for a dinner.

It get's four stars for familiarity and great ambience in winter.

  • Expensive but authentic Jun 02, 2011

It's great pleace if you want to eat authentic Italian food. The place was little hard to find at first, as roamed in whole defcol to get to the place then finally called them up for directions its near the red building near the Moolchand Flyover. A two course meal without alcohol would set you back for Rs 2000. We ordered a salad, garlic bread, Lasagna, and a thin crust artichoke pizza the food was delicious., the quantity was just about right .

  • Standards going down... Sep 13, 2010

I have been a regular at Flavors for quite a few years now. Refer to my review of Flavors last year - http://delhi.burrp.com/establishment_flavors/review_best-home-style-italian-food-in-town/4wa_9dv#listing

However, since the last 3-4 visits, the standards have been going down from bad to worse. This time it was a complete disaster!

They did not have Salad Caprese as they were out of Mozarella!! The salad was not cold, infact quite warm as if sitting on the hot pass. Asked the waiter for some bread and he said "we have stopped serving bread, you can order garlic bread from the

  • Quality and consistency in an inconsistent city Oct 27, 2009

Now a caveat; I wouldn't give Flavors a five star review if it was outside Delhi, or maybe even India, since other places have really really high quality Italian food. It would probably be a four star review. But Flavors gets five in its context, mainly because nearly every other Italian restaurant around is absolutely atrocious. What Flavors gets right is what most other restaurants get wrong: the basics. Because there's no point being expensive and cool and fancy and gimmicky if you don't have the essential elements of food and service covered. This is why I'll always prefer going to the Tibetan... read more
