They have got a really nice roof top place and ample space. This place is recommended for a lunchtime visit only in the Delhi winters cause the roof top is shut during day time in the summer season. The serve excellent Dosas and Vadas.
Beware it is an udupi restaurant don't make the mistake of going in for a South Indian meal, the dishes will not satisfy the south Indian palate. They are good with their Dosas, Idlis, Vadas and Uttapams. Do try out different varieties. They also have a special Guruprasad Kulfi on the menu which can be shared by 2 people because it is quite sweet and does get too monotonous to eat after a while, so I would recommend 2 people sharing one.

I have been going to Udupi for almost 5 years now, and the place never fails to impress. At times, i dont mind spending an hour to drive just to devour on the delicious 'North Indian Mini Thali'.
I am a big foodied and regularly visit the upscale chic restaurants too..but at Udupi, its serious eating business, and the service is really fast.
Unfortunately, i havent been able to try anything else but the Thali there in 5 years now ! I just cant get over it..the paneer, dal and veggies are just finger licking stuff !
At 100 Rupees for the North Indian Mini Thali, its the best value for money you can get anywhere in Delhi. A Must visit.

Well I am not much aware about Udupi concept, however the one thing I know is that they are South Indian for sure.
One of my friends lives in Munirka, and we often visit her place. Whenever she wanted to order from Udipi we always protested as we never wanted to have unauthentic (read non rich) north Indian food after drinks and south Indian food after drinks ..NAAA !!
However y'day she ordered before we started to drink, and once we got down to eating, it was a pleasant surprise for me. One spoon of dal and i knew I was in for a treat. Amazing dal, Paneer Butter Masala and Dum Aloo. Generally, I am not a fan of Aloo, but what I ate y'day was mind blowing. Top it all with amazing vegetable biryani. Also present were Kheer and Raita, which we never got around to tasting as we were already full.
And Quantity was amazing, we ordered 2 special thalis, with 3 extra rotis. 4 of us ate out of it and we still had food for atleast 2 people. :D
And since its a pure veggy place, I will soon be taking my family there, most probably tomorrow itself, and did I say that I am going there again, TODAY ;).
