    now leaky cauldron is a name which will get your attention immediately if you are a harry potter lover. the place is in quite a corner of the hauz khas village though. its a lil difficult to find if you dont know the way out there. on the second floor. the ambience is lovely. they have thai, italian and mexican on their menu. we decided to go for thai and this dish which we ordered was lovely. the rates will most likely make you go weak in your pocket like every other place in hkv. but then we loved it. ideal place for a dinner, lunch maybe. the interior arent exactly what you'd expect. they do... read more

    Named after the famous bar mentioned throughout the Harry Potter series, this HKV eatery is as quirky as one would expect. A three floor walk up to its terrace location, its got a beautiful view of the lake (brownie points for that.) The inside sitting area is a tad bit dull. The menu layout is very interesting, with names like 'bewitching broths' for soups, 'healing herbs' for salads etc. Its a mix of thai, italian and mexican cuisine.     I loved the name of this place- but possibly because I've come across it before- in either Harry Potter or Asterix comics. The place itself is quite cute and reasonably priced. The names of dishes on the menu fail miserably with water being called 'magical water.' They've just tried too hard to be witty. The food makes up for it somewhat. The tom yum soup is delicious.
