Mughal Mahal, whenever I hear it, I remember the incredibly thick, heartattack-esquely (whatever it means !!) full with cream and butter, DAL MAKHANI.
I remember when we were in college we decided to celebrate someones b'day in Mughal Mahal, that was 7 years back. Four of us were sitting in there looking at their Menu and were shocked. The cost of a roti was Rs.12, and at that time as poor little students that was way too much. We decided not to eat and simply ordered 2 beers, which 4 of us finished up in jiffy and went out looking for something in Budget (those beers costed Rs.250 !!).
After that I have never got a chance to dine there, however have used their delivery and take away service. I must tell you that even though there speciality is Non-veg, but they are more famous for their Malai Kofta and Dal Makhani.
There is difference in prices of Dine-in and take away menus. Dal costs around Rs.100 when you get it packed, however the quantity is amazing, enough for 4 people with average appetite.
They have recently re-done the entire interior, however as told earlier have never been inside. So cannot comment about the ambiance OR environment.
