Not Satisfied ..

I guess I have reviewed the CP outlet earlier on burrp and had nothing great to say about it, however couple of weeks back I again ended up landing in TGI fridays, this time their Gurgaon outlet.

The Ambiance of this one seemed to be better than the CP one, as this was not very crowded and unlike CP there was no formal looking crowd around. Again beer was the only thing I could have afforded on the menu, however this time I decided to experiment a bit with the Happy hour food menu. Besides ordering the standard South West Potato Twister (Rs.275 + VAT + Service Charges), we ordered three happy hours item from the menu.

* Veg. Pyramids : Rs.145 + VAT + Service Charges
* Bruschette Bites : Rs.135 + VAT + Service Charges
* Corn Fries : Rs. 135 + VAT + Service Charges

Veg Pyramids were like small samosas filled with vegetables, served with barbecue sauce. Even though they tasted good however the Quantity was appalling. I got a feeling of eating veg fried momos, sitting somewhere at Chinese food market near Chanakya.

Bruschette Bites, they were just like more crisp bread toasts served with Salsa Sauce, you can imagine having a salted rusk with salsa sauce.

Corn Fries, now this was the worst of the lot. They were just like Aloo Pakoras, however instead of besan they had used a paste of corn to coat the potato fingers. They served it with a strange sauce, which we used as butter to finish of the Bruschette Bites bread.

However I am giving three stars to the place, because they had a good 256K Wi-Fi connection and environment was not bad at all. Here are other things were ordered.

Castle Larger Beer : Rs.210 + VAT + Service Charge
Flavored Iced Team : Rs. 95 + VAT + Service Charge.

We were there in happy hours so Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were 1 + 1 free.
