Awesome seafood and mughlai

Very nice seafood dishes like Roasted prawns, Fried samundri pomphret fish .

Its butter chicken and dal makhni is very nice to have
and quite reasonable bar to accompany.

All in all a nice south and seafood extragavenza.

Splendid South

Though overall, Swagath is an average restaurant, there are a few splendid South Indian dishes which one must try (of course, like Shashank mentioned, if you are into non-vegetarian food). Specifically, the Prawns Gassi, and the Egg Appams are very good.

Another Experience

Okay, Just came back after another visit to the place, and have to change my mind now. This time our group was primarily vegetarian and almost everything we ordered was vegetarian. And to my surprise there is lot more to this place that I thought.

We had Veg Manchurian (Dry), Paneer Tikka, Tandoori Aloo, Stuffed mushrooms, Masala Gobhi, Kadahi Paneer, Veg Pulao, and Garlic Naans.

I must say except for the Manchurian, I loved every single thing that we ordered. Especially Gobhi and Pulao were mindblowing. The service was amazing, staff friendly enough.

We were 9 of us, spent around 3 hours, had beer by truckloads. Ordered everything in double quantity and more than double for starters, and bill was around Rs.5000.

I guess I cannot change my last review, but yes, this place definitely rocks.

Nothing great for Vegetarians

I was here few weeks back to meetup with some friends. Its seems to be a very popular place and got full very fast.

Coming straight to the point, we had three vegetarian dished, Mint Paneer Tikka, Paneer Butter Garlic, and some sort of Vegetable Curry. Paneer Tikka was good enough, but very pricey, Paneer butter garlic was too much butter and didn't have any particular taste, seemed like deep fried Paneer only. The Vegetable curry was not good at all, maybe due to my north Indian Taste buds, but I did not like it at all.

My friends were in love with there prawns and other non-veg stuff they ordered.

However I was happy with their happy hours, I guess they are till 8 pm and its 1 + 1 (atleast for the beer).

Service was ordinary, prices steep, ambiance average, crowd decent.
