  • Good for Drinks

    Volga is a real 'dive', and I mean that in a positive way. But this seems like the kind of place that evokes pretty strong reactions. The drinks are definitely cheaper than in most other bars in CP; a big bottle of Kingfisher, for example, is Rs. 80. If you aren't looking to drink anything fancy (which is probably the case if you're thinking of going to Volga), then it's perfect. It's slightly gentrified, though, with a pretty posh crowd and The Hop rocking the sound system. I can't say I liked the snacks, unfortunately; our chilly potato was unacceptably soggy.   • ummm....lost glory

    I am surprised that I have not written about this place till date. Have been there several time in past one year, primarily for the meetups of an online community I am a member of.

    Never really liked the place, even though I have been to worse watering holes, but this place is bang in middle of CP. They could have done a bit better. They do no accept credit cards or debit cards. Now this is the major problem, when out with a group you never know how much amount you would end up spending, so this place is generally avoided due to this.
