The food doesn't match a bit with Lucknow delicacy. They have their own version of Mumbai and some local cook's specialty I guess. The food is unnecessary expensive. The rat was visible in the restaurant, that makes it a chance of food safety violation. Pathetic service, seems like the service men are least bothered about their job. I have simply wasted the time and had a horrible experience with my family.
Today I reached there at 8:30 pm with my family and had ordered few starters, main courses and roti. Ordered simple stuff considering the Sunday rush but they took more than 2 hours to get the food one by one at my table which left our interest in food and made us irritated and annoyed. felt like wasted the money and time. still paid them as charity which ll be needed very soon to them as with this service and pathetic people will be bankrupt and had to shut down the restaurant soon..
I would love to see such pathetic place shut down, who cant bother for the customer experience.
A friend of mine who went there, stated that the biryani was not at all oily. Had all the traditional layers and flavours. A must for non-vegetarians who like traditional Mughlai food. The meat was succulent and cooked just right.
Went to this place for a family celebration and believe me no better Lucknowi food have i ever tasted than this one. It's an experience in itself you have to be there to believe it. The staff has been so courteous and actually seems to be happy to have you there. We ordered the soup to start with , the tangy tomato was our choice.. Way much better than the regular sweet tomato soups found else where, The bhatti da paneer was so succulent and fresh a must try. We ordered a variety of roti(Indian breads) and i rate the taftaan a thumbs up they r these 3 soft fresh phulka kind rotis you surely shouldn't be missing on those apart from the butter lachhedar paratha. The panner e mumtaaz n panner e noorani live upto the same expectation. The moment you are at a Lucknowi joint n fail to order a biryani u surely are doing injustice.. believe me the aromatic biryani at Lucknowi legacy is the icing on the cake there. They seem to be having interesting offers on the biryani's which i am not gonna be missing for sure..A very well executed concept of Lucknowi and Chinese served at the same place. A joint not worth skipping !
Quite a weird combination, though a friend had an explanation of why, but that is another story. Their home delivery is pretty good, whilst the service at the restaurant vacillates between overwhelming and ignoring. The food is pretty good - Zeera aloo roll and Paneer Ajwain were good, whilst mutton galawati roll and mutton kathi sheekh were very good. For the starters it is best to stick to the regular chicken and mutton - Murgh kalimiri, sheekh and shammi kebabs. The lucknowi murg rara was pretty good, whilst the murg handi was ok; but the nawabi mutter kheema was very good. To polish it off, the murg biryani is the best and most ordered. For obvious reasons, I've never ordered chinese here.
I have come here many a times and think the food was just delicious ! I wud recommend all of my friends and relatives to come and try the food. I had the chicken tangadi anarkali it was just awesome cannot stop having it and my mouth still waters when I think about it ! The Lebanese kabaab is a must try ! The service and ambience was just too good, overall a 10/10 !!
I went here after hearing about it from a few friends and I can definitely say that they serve the best Indian (Lucknowi) food I have eaten in Mumbai ever. I even tried their Chinese cuisine which is great but I still prefer the Lucknowi food which is totally unique and delicious. Ambience is a plus and I also like the fact that there is ample parking space around.Staff is prompt and polite and I will surely visit again
I seriously wondered if i would actually find decent mughlai food soon after Delhi Darbar actually stopped serving it ,i mean their food just lost the flavor still wondering Why ,but was simply blown away with what Lukhnowi Legacy had to offer could hardly believe myself eating there three days in a span of ten days trying what they had to offer and trust me it was simply great .The wait was killer on the weekend though but worth going back to over and over again. They are worth every penny and minute spent in waiting
I have been ordering from Lucknowi legacy and it just keeps getting better.Good going guys!!! a THUMBS UP from my side. A complete different and a new cuisine to me.....Mouth watering kebabs especially that tangdi anarkali it is out of the world a must try....Excellent food, amazing ambience,Humble and polite staff and most importantly hygienic 10/10
I will be HONEST. I was not sure if i wanted to got to LL coz i wanted to eat chinese but my wife told me her friends had dinner at LL and couldn't stop raving about the food and ambiance.I realize now after eating there that they were rite. So finally we went to LL. Honestly i would have not known what i was missing if i didn't go to LL. I LOVE THE FOOD ITS THE BEST INDIAN FOOD I EVER HAD IN MUMBAI. I Have to say the staff is really concerned about their guest and their opinion. they made sure the food came on time and made sure to ask us what our thoughts were. I would for sure visit again and will recommend all my friends.
Are you tired of trying pizzas , pastas and all the continental or Mexican food all the time and are looking for some nice Indian food.. say a good Paya Shorba or Lucknowi Dum Biryani.. Now if that thought is making your mouth water then you must try the Lucknowi Legacy. Thats exactly how I was feeling last evening and I landed up there. Now the weird bit .. Why would a restaurant thats called Lucknowi Legacy dedicate half the space on its menu card to Chinese cuisine? Anyways, I preferred to stick to the Indian part.Food We called for Paya Shorba which I really enjoyed. (Felt just right in this winter evening) We then called for Gosh Zareef Boti for Starters, which I though was really nice with very soft pieces of meat with a little cream on it. I loved it! We then had Lucknowi Murg Dum Biryani (boneless) for main course which I really enjoyed. It easily serves 2 with sufficient chicken pieces. We had Firni for dessert, which was just okay.Overall, the food was nice and tasty and well presented. Service: The staff was really very polite and helpful. The service was prompt. Overall they really make you feel nice and welcome.Ambience: The place has an elegant, fine-dine kind of look to it and is quite spacious with both, a ground floor as well as a first floor to it. The place has comfortable sofa and table seating which I personally prefer over chairs. The first floor has a low celling but I didnt find that too much of an issue. It gives it a nice cosy feel to that space, except that you have to watch your head a little while you move in or out. :PValue for Money- We spent about Rs. 850/- for two which I think is not bad at all considering the food quality and the ambience.
So to sum it up,Food: 3.5/5 (Indian cuisine) Service: 3.5/5 Ambience: 3/5 Value for money: 3.5/5.I would surely wanna go back again.. n maybe try their rolls too this time
